PM asks that Lien Ha Thai IP become an investment attraction model
Industrial park has attracted seven projects with capital of $731mln in the two years since its investment plan was approved.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has asked relevant agencies to build Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park (IP) in northern Thai Binh province’s Thai Thuy district into a model IP in investment promotion and attraction.
He made the request while examining the IP’s construction on April 27.
The government leader expressed his delight at the rapid construction of the IP in the year since he last visited, in May 2022.
Nearly 90 per cent of site clearance has been completed and the IP has attracted many investors.
On an area of 588.84 ha, Lien Ha Thai IP is a key, pioneering project in the Thai Binh Economic Zone. In the two years since its investment plan was approved, it has attracted seven secondary investors with total investment of $731 million.
The result helped take Thai Binh province into the top 10 localities in terms of investment attraction.
The Prime Minister later visited the Lotes factory, the first project in the IP and specializing in high-tech products, with total investment capital of $120 million.
