SEKO Logistics officially makes foray into Vietnam
The newly-established SEKO Logistics (Vietnam) LLC has begun operations in Vietnam to meet the rapid growth in demand for transport and logistics services from global producers and suppliers in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic and emerging economies.
SEKO Vietnam will connect local, national, and international networks and services to support the supply chain requirements of both established traders and companies making significant investments in production locations in Vietnam for the first time.
The new operation will offer clients a market-leading logistics network incorporating over 300,000 square metres of multifunctional warehouses in eight locations, including Haiphong, Danang, and Binh Duong, the biggest manufacturing areas of Vietnam.
The company’s domestic trucking network features a fleet of over 350 trucks, providing daily north-to-south linehaul services.
Clients will also enjoy access to a domestic rail network and benefit from SEKO Vietnam’s strong presence at Yen Vien Rail Terminal in Hanoi, as well as at port and inland container depots.
In optimising this established infrastructure, SEKO Vietnam is offering clients a full range of integrated services for air freight, sea freight, road transport, and rail freight, alongside warehousing and last-mile delivery services. This includes weekly cross-border and domestic ocean freight as well as air cargo opportunities with over 20 airlines. The operation also provides a dedicated in-house customs brokerage team and full, real-time links to the country’s customs systems.
