The Government chief urged the Ministry of Health to have clear answers on how many doses of vaccines that Viet Nam could receive in the coming time, requesting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to proactively participate in seeking vaccine supply sources.

He also ordered more field hospitals to stay prepared for possible rise of entrants.

According to Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen, the COVID-19 outbreaks have been basically put under control as new community cases confirmed over the past days had been quarantined, thus the risk of transmissions is low.

Viet Nam reported 129 COVID-19 cases, including 125 local infections on Monday, the record number of daily new cases since the country detected the first patient more than a year ago./.
