Viet Nam calls for self-restraint in Taiwan Strait

VGP - Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang on Wednesday reaffirmed Viet Nam's consistent support for the “one-China policy” and called on relevant parties to exercise restraint across the Taiwan Strait .
Spokesperson Le made the above remark in response to reporters’ inquiry on the current situation in the Taiwan Strait.
The Spokesperson called on the relevant sides not to escalate tensions in the Taiwan Strait, and actively contribute to maintaining peace and stability, and promoting cooperation and development in the region and the world at large.
