Partner with enterprises in the digital age

Over the past 29 years, VIETNAM EXPO has become the most significant and largest scale exhibition of the industry and trade sector, delivering economic values and practical opportunities for local businesses to further their exports, market development, contributing to fulfilling commitments of the government in international integration.

“Vietnam Expo – Partner with enterprises in the digital age” is themed with aspiration to scale up the spreading of the “National Program on Digital Transformation” initiated by the government, providing a platform for connecting business and entrepreneur communities to access digital solutions and applications in production for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in production and services, serving both local and global markets.

Vietnam Expo 2021 is a milestone of 30 years with participation of 320 enterprises and 300 pavilions, represented by trade promotion agencies and business communities from Cuba, Russia, Germany, Japan, America, South Korea, Hong Kong, China and Vietnam whose presentations of cities and provinces including An Giang, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Đong Thap, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Duong, Ninh Binh, Nghe An, Lao Cai, Quang Trị, Yen Bai, Tay Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Kien Giang, Tien Giang, Khanh Hoa and Vinh Long.

Vietnam Expo volunteers in applying the hybrid exhibition with real pavilions blended with remote booths and online B2B; in parallel with online Vietnam Expo from April 14th 2021 to May 14, 2021 at www.online.vietnamexpo.com.vn.

Despite impacts of the pandemic, needs of trading is on the rise which is an outcome of trust placed by enterprises on the pandemic prevention and protection of the local government as well as vaccinations that have been carried out in several countries in the world. Such movements have made up stability of local market, incentivized the organizer to either implement new sort of trading or appeal enterprises to promote local trade and exports.

Products of industries will be displayed in various sections including Machinery – Supplementary Industry; Digital Technology – E-commerce; Food and Beverage – Consumer Commodities.

Ongoing mission is aimed to create momentum for key industries to go further in parallel with local economic development direction; this is also the six consecutive years the “Invest in Vietnam” – Industrial Development and Investment Pavilion is centrally located and installed that will introduce seven prominent industries from local cities and provinces including Khanh Hoa, Đong Thap, Nghe An, Kien Giang, Vinh Long, Yen Bai and An Giang. During the exhibition, the organizer will work closely with these cities and provinces to hold series of workshops to introduce policies, investment climate, discussions by the Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Centers to those who are interested in.

VIRTUAL FORUM & B2B with topic “Invest in Vietnam: Focus on industries in eight provinces” will be held by Vietnam Trade Office in Singapore and local Trade Promotion Department which will introduce industrial investment opportunities in eight provinces such as Bac Ninh, Nghe An, Yen Bai, Khanh Hoa, Vinh Long, Kien Giang, An Giang, Đong Thap. This will be a good opportunity for Singaporean investors to get update information on production and manufacturing policies of Vietnam and practical opportunities in these key provinces.

Trade Promotion - Investment Hanoi (HPA) and Ho Chi Minh City (ITPC) are the two prominent booths at Vietnam Expo where visitors will be interested by local specialties and with the target ‘good brands of local businesses will be of these cities/provinces; common interests of either enterprises or localities’. To date, every exhibition has more outstanding enterprises present their better quality products at the call of provincial trade, investment and tourism promotion centers from Tay Ninh, Quang Tri, Ninh Binh, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Tien Giang, Thanh Hoa, Hai Duong, Bac Giang.

The year 2021 will be the 22nd consecutive year that South Korea’s Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA Hanoi) hold the Korea Pavilion at VIETNAM EXPO 2021. This important event has become a bridge for further trade promotion between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea, contributing to robustly enhancing trading of the two countries.

“We are proud of the Korea Pavilion at Vietnam EXPO2021 which has been maintained as it was despite restrictions of the pandemic. Our experiences in promoting trade, especially online transactions effectively, we believe that Vietnamese and Korean enterprises will have opportunities to work together profoundly and broadly. We value the annual Vietnam EXPO organization,” said Lee Jong Seob, Director General of KOTRA Hanoi cum KOTRA Asia region and Oceania.

VIETNAM EXPO participatory activities include series of workshops on SMEs with e-commerce; topics will focus on essential demands of enterprises such as upskills, advertisement related questionnaires and increase revenues in local market and exports, including: Workshop on “Take opportunity of exporting local made products with Amazon | Afternoon April 14th 2021 in coordination with Amazon Global Selling Vietnam and Vietnam Association of Consumer Goods Development (VACOD).’ Workshop on “E-Commerce and Important Legal Issues” | Morning April 15 in coordination with Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI); Seminar on “Talks on Automotive Parts Policies” | Morning April 15th in coordination with Trade Promotion Department, Industrial Department and Kotra; Workshop on “Promote local business and exports on platform in the digital age” | Afternoon April 15th presented by ALIBABA in Vietnam.
