Thai Nguyen targets becoming modern industrial center
Province to develop new industrial clusters and high-tech parks.
Northern Thai Nguyen province has set a target of becoming a modern and smart industrial economic center by 2025 in its master planning for the 2021-2030 period approved by the Prime Minister.
It will develop 41 industrial clusters and expand 11 industrial parks and one high-tech zone during the period.
By 2030, it aims to become a center of high-level electrical, electronic, and mechanical manufacturing; high-quality human resources training; health; tourism; and digital transformation in the north.
The master planning is expected to open up many opportunities and introduce new growth drivers to maximize the potential and advantages Thai Nguyen holds to boost socio-economic development.
To fulfill its targets, the planning puts forward a group of solutions, including mobilizing investment capital, developing human resources, expanding digital transformation, and boosting science and technology.
