Quang Tri province to export first batch of organic rice to EU

Rice to be exported to the bloc at a price of $1,800 per ton.
The central province of Quang Tri is ready to ship its first batch of 15 tons of organic rice to the EU, according to local authorities.
A ceremony was held on February 13 to mark the first shipment of the rice, at a price of $1,800 per ton.
It will be shipped to central Da Nang city shortly for export to the EU and distribution to Germany, the Czech Republic, Sweden, and France.
The Quang Tri Organic Agro Products Joint Stock Company plans to export 30-50 tons of rice to the market each month after the successful shipment of this first batch.
